The media learned about the return of Luis Enrique to the post of coach of the national team of Spain

Specialist Luis Enrique will return to the post of chief coach of the national team of Spain on football on the eve of the European championship 2020. About it reports the edition of Mundo Deportivo, with reference to the radio station Cadena Cope, which passed the information citing sources.

Enrique coached the Spanish team from July 2018 to June this year, but was forced to resign due to serious illness daughter, who died in August at the age of nine years.

To replace Enrique came Robert Morena, under whose leadership the Spaniards took the first place in group F of the qualifying stage for the European championship 2020.

49-year-old Enrique coached Roma Italian and Spanish «Salto» and «Barcelona». Together with the Catalan team coach in 2015 and 2016 won the championship of Spain in 2015, 2016 and 2017 the national Cup, and in 2016 — the Spanish super Cup. When Enrique’s Barcelona also won the Champions League and the UEFA super Cup, winning both trophies in 2015.

The Spanish team under the leadership of Enrique won eight matches and suffered two defeats.
