Youth team Russia played a draw against Wales in qualifying for EURO

Youth national team of Russia on football drew with team Wales in the match of first qualifying round of the European championship 2020 among players under the age of 19 years. The meeting, held in Cardiff, ended with the score 2:2.

At 30 minutes, the attacker «Zenit» Cyril Kosarev has deduced Russians forward. In the second half Neko Williams converted two penalties. In the 85th minute the defender of «Zenit» Daniel Prachin set the final score.

For team Alexander Kerzhakov was the second draw in a row in qualifying. Earlier this week, the Russians shared the points with Kosovo (1:1).

In a parallel match of qualifying group 5 Champions, Newport defeated Kosovo with the score 4:1. As a part of winners the double was issued by Mike Nawrocki, goal scored by Bartosz and Bartosz Bialek Bida.

Wales scored four points and led the groups table 5. Poland — three points, the Russians have two, Kosovo — one.

On Tuesday, November 19, the Russian team will meet with Poland. The game will again be held in Cardiff.

In the first qualifying round of the European championship attended by 52 teams. In the next stage of qualification will be 28 teams. One of them will get on two best teams each of the 13 groups, the best team from among taken the third places, along with Portugal, is exempt from participation in the first qualifying stage due to the high rating of UEFA.

In the final part of European championship will play eight teams, including the mistress of tournament the national team of Northern Ireland. The competition will be held July 19 — August 1, 2020.
