The national team of Russia on football has named the squad for the game against Belgium

Coaching staff of Russian national team has published on Twitter the starting team for the match of the ninth round of the qualifying tournament of the European championship 2020 against Belgium. The match will take place on Saturday, November 16, and will start at 20:00 GMT.

In the gate the Russian team is the goalkeeper of the Moscow «Locomotive» Guilherme, the four defenders will be Sergei Petrov of FC Krasnodar, Andrey Semenov («Ahmad»), Georgy Jikia («Spartak») and Mario Fernandes (CSKA Moskva).

In the midfield will play Magomed Ozdoev («Zenith»), Alexey Ionov («Rostov»), Roman Zobnin («Spartak»), Yury Zhirkov («Zenith»), Alexey Miranchuk (Lokomotiv). In the role of lone striker will be the team’s captain Artem Dzyuba («Zenith»).

The national teams of Russia and Belgium guaranteed a place in the UEFA European championship in October. For two rounds before the end of the qualification the Belgians in the asset 24 points, Russians — 21. A draw in St. Petersburg will provide the team Roberto Martinez first place in group I.

The final tournament of the Euro 2020 will be held from 12 June to 12 July 2020 in 12 cities. Four meetings will be held at the «Gazprom Arena». At least two of them will be with the national team of Russia.
