In the team of ambassadors of the St. Petersburg people’s artist of Russia joined the General Director of the Mariinsky theatre Valery Gergiev, the Opera soloist of the Mariinsky theatre Vasily Gerello and former football player of Russian national team Alexander Kerzhakov.

European championship 2020 will be held next summer in 12 stadiums in 12 European cities. Saint Petersburg will host three matches in the group stage (at least two of them — with the participation of the national team of Russia), and a quarterfinal.
