The representative of Germany Alexander Zverev has won a victory over Spaniard Rafael Nadal in the first round match of the Final tournament of the Association of tennis professionals (ATP), which takes place in London. The meeting ended with the victory of the German tennis player in two sets with the score 6:2, 6:4.
During the match, Zverev, occupying the 7th position in ATP ranking earned 3 break-points. Nadal did not get any.
Alexander Zverev — last year’s winner of the Final tournament ATP. In total, he has won 11 ATP titles. Rafael Nadal occupies the first position of the ATP ranking. He’s already won the 84 ATP tournament, including 19 of the tournament series Grand slam.
At the Final tournament ATP, prize Fund of which is $9 million, Zverev and Nadal play in a band with Andre Agassi, which also was hit by Daniil Medvedev and speaker for Greece Stefanos Zizipus. In the group of björn Borg play Novak Djokovic (Serbia), Roger Federer (Switzerland), Dominique Tim (Austria) and Matteo Berrettini (Italy).
Match Medvedev and Zizipus held on 11 November and ended with the victory of the Greek tennis player in two sets— 7:6 (7:5), 6:4. In the next round on November 13 there will be held matches Zverev — Zizipus and Nadal — Medvedev.
