Played in CSKA and training Cambodia Honda moved to Vitesse Slutsky
Former midfielder CSKA and national team of Japan Keisuke Honda has signed a contract with the Dutch «Vitessa», reports the club’s official website. The agreement with the 33-year-old football player is designed to the end of the season.
«Vitesse» is headed by Leonid Slutsky, which Honda has worked in CSKA.
Since August 2018, Honda is the head coach of the national team of Cambodia. In qualifying for the 2022 world Cup, the national team suffered three defeats, one draw. In their last meeting Cambodia on the road lost to Iran with the score 0:14.
Until may 2019 Honda competed for the «Melbourne victory» in the championship of Australia. He previously played for the Mexican «Pachuca», where in 2017 moved from AC Milan. The midfielder also spent four seasons with CSKA, playing for the red and blue 94 matches and scoring 20 goals.
«Vitesse» is in the Dutch championship fifth place with 12 games, 23 points. Slutsky led the team at the end of the season 2017/18.
