Kovalev lost to Alvarez by knockout in the battle for the title of world champion in Boxing
Russian boxer Sergey Kovalev gave the Mexican Sulu «Canelo» Alvarez in a duel for the title of world champion in Boxing among professionals according to the world Boxing organization (WBO) light heavyweight champion. About it it is reported in the official Twitter account of the organization.

Russian boxer defeat was the fourth in his professional career with 34 wins (29 of them by knockout) and one draw. 29-year-old Alvarez won 53 fights (37 knockouts), one defeat and two draws.
