The lowest level of unemployment in June-August was recorded in Moscow and the highest in Ingushetia, in General, in 38 regions of Russia the unemployment rate is lower than in Russia on average, the study said, RIA «Novosti», based on Rosstat data.
According to published statistics, the workforce in the June — August 2019 amounted to 75.5 million people, including 3.3 million people are classified as unemployed. In mid-2018 the Russians was little more than 3.5 million people. The number of unemployed is declining on the background of growth of nominal wages, which in January-July 2019 rose 7.3%.

Unemployment the average salary in Russia in June — August 2019 was 4.4%, decreasing 0.3 percentage points compared to the same period of 2018. In August 2019, the unemployment rate was 4.3%. Compared to the same period last year in four regions the unemployment rate decreased, but most notably in the Republic of Tuva. Experts note that in these regions not the first situation in the labour market that is reflected in acute shortage of vacancies to number of unemployed.
By the end of June to August 2019 in 56 Russian regions the unemployment rate decreased in 8 — has not changed in 21 regions increased compared to the corresponding period in 2018. A leader in the positive dynamics became the Republic of Tyva, where the unemployment rate decreased by 8.3 percentage points. 3.1 points, the unemployment rate decreased in the Murmansk region (4.6 per cent), 2.6 — in the Irkutsk region (5,9%), 2.5 — in Karachay-Cherkess Republic (9.6 percent). The most significant growth was observed in the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, where unemployment increased by 3.7 percentage point and amounted to 12.6%.
Recall that in Ingushetia were also recorded the highest proportion of families who only have enough money for food and clothing: the figure was 78.8%. Dagestan is the leader in the number of low-wage workers: 46% of its residents earn less than 15 thousand rubles per month. According to statistics service, last year on food and non-alcoholic beverages from the residents of Ingushetia took 57.9% of the average wage, Dagestan — 53,8%, Chukotka is 47.7%. In 2017 this figure amounted to 59.6, 58.4 per and 39.8%, respectively.
Less food, according to Rosstat, last year was spent by residents of Moscow (24,5%), Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug — Ugra (23,1%) and Tatarstan (21.8 percent). Spending living in these regions the Russians in 2017 and 26%, 24.4% to 25.8%, respectively.
The questions raised wage growth in the first quarter of 2019, real income of the population decreased by 2.5%, while in the second real income dropped by 0.2%. For the first half of incomes of Russians showed a decrease of 1.3% in annual terms. It is connected including with increase of VAT from 18% to 20% and high levels of food inflation, while pensions and salaries are tied to a lower official inflation rate.
