Skater Trusova won the Grand Prix in Canada
Russian figure skater Alexander Trusov has performed three quadruple jumps in the free program and received 166,62 points, won the second Grand Prix in Canada, reports NBC.
Thus Trusov has updated their world record points for the long program (163,78) and for the overall performance (238,69 now — 241,02). Any 15-year-old athlete performed three quadruple jump, but once made a mistake, falling while performing a quadruple a Salchow right there. She managed to get around 17-year-old representative of Japan Riku Chihiro and 15-year-old South Korean skater Yu Yong. Russian figure skater Evgenia Medvedeva took fifth place with 209,62 points.
Trusov first participated in the tournament of Grand Prix series at senior level. She has twice won the world Junior championship.
