The head of RUSADA saw a conspiracy in the substitution data laboratory in Moscow
General Director of the Russian anti-doping Agency Yuri Hanus said that before information is sent from the Moscow anti-doping laboratory experts of the International anti-doping Agency’s database were made thousands of changes.
CEO RUSADA said that the situation with the change of the data of the Moscow laboratory «broke the trust» to the Russian sport, but also caused damage to the reputation of the Supreme power of the country.
«The President [Vladimir Putin] is talking about to attract to the sport as many people as possible, to form a sports reserve, tasked to solve the issue with athletics until Dec. These actions are aimed at the destruction of these tasks,» said Hanus.
An earlier edition of the New York Times published the words Hanusa, said at a conference in Colorado last Sunday. CEO RUSADA said that the data laboratory in Moscow has been tampered with in order to protect the reputation of Russian athletes who are currently employed in the government or are sports officials.
Hanus also said that the falsification of the data of the Moscow laboratory was possible only by the persons close to the Russian authorities.
In September, WADA launched a process of recognizing RUSADA is not relevant to your code because of the suspicion in the substitution of the data of the Moscow laboratory. In that case, if the Russian side will be found guilty of violations, athletes from Russia can be removed from the Olympics in 2020 in Tokyo and other international tournaments.
