New point control the quantity and quality of oil may appear on the Eastern border of Belarus in 2021. About it as reports TASS with reference to BelTA, said on Friday the chief engineer of OJSC «Gomeltransneft Druzhba» Andrew Verigo.
As transfers Agency BelTA, Verigo said that «the situation with the arrival of Russia contaminated hlororganika oil in April of current year has made some adjustments to the approaches to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the Belarusian part of «Druzhba» pipeline.
«Of OJSC «Gomeltransneft Druzhba» discussing with the concern «Belneftekhim» the need for the establishment of new control points of the quantity and quality of oil,» he added.
It is planned that the control unit «will appear on the Eastern edge of the oil line in the reception of hydrocarbons that will ensure a high level of security for the oil flow, strengthen control of quality and quantity raw materials.»
«Unfortunately, trusting the principle of working with partners is not always justified. If such node was installed on the reception of oil in the country, the probability of the April incident would be excluded,» — said Verigo.
According to the data, confirmed by laboratory tests, the contaminated oil got on the territory of Belarus on the evening of 9 April.
«Belneftekhim» on 19 April announced a sharp deterioration in the quality of the Russian Urals oil, transited to the area of the main oil pipeline JSC «Gomeltransneft Druzhba». OJSC «Gomeltransneft Druzhba» 24 APR stopped the dirty transit of Russian oil to Europe, then it was resumed. In the Russian «Transneft» declared that the pollution of the oil pipeline «Druzhba» was intentional.
At the end of June the General Director of the Belarusian JSC «Gomeltransneft Druzhba» Oleg Borisenko said that the JSC «Transneft» has refused offers to negotiate the construction on the Belarus borders with Russia and Poland commercial systems measure the quantity and quality of oil. In this connection, the Belarusian company intends to create new points of control of the quantity and quality of raw materials coming from Russia.
